More like 4.5.Very quick read! Immersive story, and the chapters are very short. So, you just fly through it.
The story moves forward at a great pace, enough information is given to keep the reader satisfied but the suspense never dies out. With thrillers, I often feel like I am reading only because I want to learn what will happen/what happened. I have read two of the author's work so far (the other being False Witness), and both times the journey was enjoyable enough to keep me reading and the suspense was a great addition.
I am not giving 5 stars just because I did not find the villian very convincing.

Great for an afternoon escape. Couldnt put it down.
Started reading while getting my hair done and had to be interrupted twice to get my attention. Intriguing and immersing, I honestly wish I could start from the beginning anew.
A very suspenseful read. Great characters, especially the villain. Very creative plot and crisp dialogue. The story grabs you from the very first page. You won't want to put this one down!
